Locker Rentals (NEW in 2007) After removing 2002's innovative electronic wrist-band floating locker rental system (see the Ghost Town section for details), the park installed sets of lockers at major rides (Goliath being one of them) and required that all loose objects be secured prior to entering the queue. In place of a daily fee each locker rental is limited to 2 hours and costs $2 per rental. Stay longer and the fee goes up. So, if you are planning on hitting the park have either cargo pockets that will hold your stuff or a non-rider who will be responsible for your items. The procedure is expected to be expanding quickly to all the major rides in the park to help avoid theft and improve loading times (guests storing items takes up valuable time from the load process and the park refuses to take the Dollywood approach and have the ride attendants collect and store items prior to releasing the ride. I personally think this is a bad move in light of people bringing bags of crap so they can enjoy the Skull Island water play area without trekking back and forth to their vehicle. In my experience so far it doesn't help load times and will only annoy guests rather than build the per capita income for the park.
In-park paging of guests is performed for confirmed medical emergencies only, however the new FastLane devices will work and family radio service (FRS) walkie-talkies are permitted.
