With the Promenade open the front entrance is the only entrance, the old back gate* is just a memory. Season Pass Processing is outside the turnstiles in the east ticket plaza (the side closest to the Georgia Scorcher) and you must get your picture taken prior to entering the park. After getting your pass you will go directly into the park. The Promenade improved the ticket seller booths and Guest Relations for better operations.
As you come into the entrance plaza from the Batman parking lot (East) Season Pass, Guest Relations & Will Call are on the left, with ticket seller booths on the right. From the Cyclone parking lot (West), only ticket seller booths are on that side of the gates. Season Pass, Guest Relations & Will Call are not duplicated. After aquiring your ticket media you continue forward to the main gate. Traffic flow is easier than it sounds. As ticket prices are subject to change, I suggest calling the park at (770)739-3400 for specific ticket price information or checking the web site at www.sixflags.com/georgia. One-day, Two-day, Group & Season Pass prices are all available at any time.
Buy your Six Flags, White Water or American Adventures tickets and Season Passes at PUBLIX! All Atlanta area Six Flags tickets (including Season Passes) will be available from any Publix grocery store cashier in the Southeast. Just take the appropriate coupon from the display at the checkout line and the cashier hands you the ticket or Season Pass voucher. To find the closest store to you, go to the store locator at www.Publix.com.
Discounts
You never, ever, have to pay full price - even at the gate unless it's a Saturday when most of the discounts are not valid, but if you plan in advance you can use discounted tickets on Saturday, too! Before going to the park go to the closest Publix grocery store (see above) to get one of the best prices around by purchasing your tickets in advance. If you want even greater discounts purchase a ticket at AAA at one of the southeast AAA offices (including the surrounding states, check your local AAA office for details). Otherwise take a specially marked Coca-Cola can - buy it in advance at a convenience store, there's a QT just up the road (Exit 46B) as there are no vending machines on the entry plaza. Out-of-state visitors can stop at one of the Georgia Welcome centers or the Atlanta Visitors and Convention Bureau (ACVB) in Underground Atlanta, downtown, for one of many brochures that includes coupons for Six Flags admission. And many companies participate in either the corporate ticket or corporate discount program (as your human resources office for information) to provide Six Flags discounts for their employees. And Season Pass holders are provided multiple opportunities through their coupon book to provide "free friend admission." You can also buy tickets on-line at SixFlags.com.
At the park you can buy tickets up to 1 hour prior to closing (you'd be surprised how many people arrive this late and pay full price), but only Will Call is open that late. While there was a military discount program over the 4th of July holidays, that program was only temporary.
After you have purchased your tickets proceed directly to any ticket line. The crowd tends to bunch up at either end, but walk around to the middle ticket takers (even if you have to step in the entrance road) for quicker lines. The scanners at the front gate will allow you to enter.
Twickets
TWICKETS ARE NOT OFFERED. After a long absence "Twickets" returned for a short while during the summer of 1999, but they are no longer available. The way a Twicket works is after you enter the park you can use your current day ticket to purchase a return ticket for $5. The return ticket is only valid for use during the next seven days. Guest Relations would be able to tell you if Twickets were available to extend your visit."Twilight" Admissions
$19.95 after 4:00 PM. Normally SFOG did not offer a discounted ticket price after a certain hour of the day, but in 2003 the park offered a reduced rate ticket as shown. Please check with the park in advance before attempting to buy this ticket.
You can buy a Season Pass from any ticket seller, Guest Relations, or (away from the park) any metro-Atlanta Publix grocery store. A renewal from any Six Flags park Season Pass is acceptable (when renewal discounts are permitted), just present your prior year old Season Pass. If your address is greater than 90 miles away inquire at the park about an out-of-market Season Pass renewal discount (currently not available).
A seasonal Parking Permit (window sticker) can be purchased with your Season Pass or at Guest Relations or Season Pass Processing office, located at the Front Gate Promenade. If you would like a parking permit bring your current parking ticket stub with you as it's price is deducted from the full price of the parking pass.
Late in the season a Super Fall Pass is sometimes available at a significant discount over the normal price (approximately $40): it's just a Season Pass that's only good for the rest of the year. Season Passes are only sold annually, you cannot get next year's Season Pass until the current year's operation is complete.
If you decide you've enjoyed your stay at SFOG and would like to come again, stop by Guest Relations on the same day to receive a discount of your admission price good towards the purchase of a Season Pass. Guest Relations will usually remain open at least 30 minutes after the park closes.
Six Flags Over Georgia Season Passes can be upgraded to include unlimited admissions to White Water waterpark. A platinum Season Pass includes not only White Water, but American Adventures as well.
You can buy the pass on-line, or save the handling charge and buy them at the gate during any regular operating day. If you are renewing a Season Pass and they can locate your photo in the computer you will receive a new Season Pass in the mail - no waiting for lines to process a new pass next year.
Buy your Season Pass early for the best price! Season pass prices increase at the end of April, and will again in June (the beginning of the summer season). Buy your pass now for the lowest price available - even if you don't get the pass processed until later in the year. Just be sure you remember where you put your Season Pass vouchers as there is no refund or replacement for lost vouchers.
Season Pass Day - a great time to get a last ride and enjoy the park for one last time, to be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006. And the park is promising early rides during Spring Break (9A-10A or so) on the new Goliath roller coaster for Season Pass Holders only.
Season Pass processing, where your information is entered and your picture is taken, is located outside the gates in the east ticket plaza (near the Georgia Scorcher). Expect a long line on any Saturday early in the season. If the line is too long, the park will sometimes permit people to enter the park and return later in the day. But be careful with your Season Pass voucher. There are no refunds for lost vouchers and you must get your voucher processed the first time you enter the park during the year.

Groups of 15 or more qualify for group rates. You can buy group sale tickets from the Will Call window on the day of your visit, however greater discounts are available if you call ahead.
To rent a picnic pavillion you must have a group of 100 or more. Call the Group Sales department to discuss availability and options.
Advance purchases require 2 weeks if paying by check, 4 days if paying by credit card.
For these and other group options, call the Group Sales department at 770-739-3400.
Not all locations inside the park accept credit cards or checks. If you are in a "cashless" state you can purchase Looney Tunes Loot - Bugs Bunny Bucks, similar to gift certificates of $1 to $20, which can be spent anywhere inside the park (except admissions and/or parking). Purchase your Looney Loot with a check or credit card at the Guest Relations office.
*there was a second gate that was located where the Go-Karts are now.
